Michael Klaper, MD says that we are not what we eat. We are what we digest and absorb. Huh?! Have you ever thought about it like that before??!

2. Chewing your leafy greens especially well helps keep your heart healthy also. Our endothelial cells, the cells lining the walls of the vessels, help move things through them smoothly and easily rather than allow things to stick to the walls and gunk up the works which can later cause chest pain from blockages and possibly lead to heart attack or stroke.
Dr. Caldwell Essylstyn Jr. talks about that in detail in his book: Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. Check out his video clip where he talks about his research and findings.
So next time you have a nice tasty salad, slow down and chew your greens well and remember how happy it's making your endothelial cells (which ultimately makes your whole body happy and healthy), and your mother! ;)
