1-1.5 C leftover brown rice
1/3 C dry GF Old fashioned oats
1 C frozen strawberries and blueberries combined
2 T ground flax seed...
1 T cinnamon
1-2 T pure maple syrup
1-2 C fresh almond milk (or you can use soy, rice, hemp or oat milk)
- Prepare the almond milk in a high powered blender and add to leftover rice in bowl.
- Reheat rice, with added milk, until the rice is hot.
- Add remaining ingredients, minus maple syrup, and heat again until frozen fruit is thawed but not cooked.
- Add maple syrup, stir, eat and enjoy!!
