Breakfast muesli :
1 C old fashioned rolled GF oats
1/3 C puffed unsweetened millet cereal
1 1/2 C frozen blueberries and strawberries mixed
2 T flax seed
1 cup fresh blended almond milk*
Drizzle of pure maple syrup
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, stir and enjoy!
* To make almond milk:
Use 1/4 cup raw natural almonds for each cup of finished milk mixed with 1 cup cold water in a blender cup (I use a small blender for small amounts, like a nutriBullet or Tribest personal blender for best results)
- Blend in high powered blender for about a minute.
- Place wire mesh strainer over a bowl and pour blender contents into strainer.
- Using a spoon, push any lingering milk through the pulp into the bowl.
Milk can be stored for a couple days in the refrigerator in a sealed container.
